We are located directly on the Portage River which is just minutes by water to Lake Erie. Immediately next door to our motel is large state managed boat launch. This makes it very convenient for our guests to launch their boats and personal watercraft (jet-ski) into the water quickly. Our river front dockage is also a convenience to our guests, they can choose to keep their boat or personal watercraft in the water their entire stay.
Bass fishing on Lake Erie and its tributaries has been on the increase for the past 10 years. The smallmouth bass fishing in this area is some of the best in the Ohio.
Whether you plan to bank fish, pier fish, bring your own boat, charter a local fishing boat or walk on one of the several local head boats your fishing trip of a lifetime awaits you on the shores of Lake Erie.
In addition to our motel and marina facilities, we offer a no frills full hook campground just to the east of the state access area.
