White Caps Motel is just a 5 minute commute by car to the heart of Ohio's vacation land, Port Clinton, Ohio. There you will find many of the areas main attractions such as the Jet Express ferry to Put-In-Bay, downtown shopping, restaurants, marina district, night life and yes "fishing charters"!
We are located directly on the Portage River which is just minutes by water to Lake Erie. Immediately next door to our motel is large state managed boat launch. This makes it very convenient for our guests to launch their boats and personal watercraft (jet-ski) into the water quickly. Our river front dockage is also a convenience to our guests, they can choose to keep their boat or personal watercraft in the water their entire stay.
At White Caps Motel it is our belief that our guests appreciate our "Clean comfortable rooms at sensible prices", especially when comparing our rooms and prices to others in the area. We are a non-chain affiliated family owned and operated motel, we feel this is a very important distinction and our guests agree.
Each room, besides being clean and comfortable, includes a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, air conditioner and access to a picnic area with barbecue grill.
In addition to our motel and marina facilities, we offer a no frills full hook campground just to the east of the state access area.
